I am gonna end up spending a fortune on Halloween costumes this year. I made the mistake of looking at some on Etsy!:hehe:

Oooh that could be dangerous! Homemade costumes are usually the best and those Etsy people are so talented and crafty!

I'm so excited about fall and Halloween!! Fall is my most favorite time of the year, and I hate hate hate summer :hehe:
I can't wait to find Nathaniel something to dress up in, I think this is going to be his first year of trick or treating.

more like which ones am I not looking at. I found the cutest Dorothy one on Etsy, and a peacock, and red riding hood, and wonder woman.
Kylee wants me to dress Maddy as Alice and let Kylee dress as the Queen of Hearts. I wanted to do Maddy as Dorothy and dress Ky as Glinda and Jake as Tin Man or Scarecrow. He isn't having it, at all! lol

Fall is our favorite time to. It's beautiful around here with the leaves changing. And Mike and I love being outside in sweatshirts and jeans. Not hot, not cold, just cool

All of those sound fun! The peacock would be a blast to do the make-up for. Queen of Hearts would be fun to make up as well. I love Halloween make-up. When I grow up, I want to me a make-up artist. ;)

Fall is our favorite time to. It's beautiful around here with the leaves changing. And Mike and I love being outside in sweatshirts and jeans. Not hot, not cold, just cool
Yeah You don't live very far away from me. I love the crisp feel in the air, and all the hayrides we have around here. Ahhhh :sigh: I can't wait!

I've picked his costumes the past two years, this year I will probably pick 3 or 4 and let him pick from those. He's only 2 so he doesn't have much of an opinion of what he wears and such yet. But even getting ready I pick out a few outfits and we go through the colors and I let him choose what he wants. (Unless were running late and I put whatever I come in contact with first :hehe:)

Mommax3, I LOVE the Queen of Hearts one! The peacock one is pretty awesome too, but I wonder if you could make it cheaper. Get a leotard and tutu and then buy some peacock feathers and attach them. The fan of feathers in the back would be pretty easy to glue together as well.

I love fall and as much as I'm sure DS would LOVE to be Mario, I'm not buying any costumes this year. DD will wear DS's old monkey costume and DS's Thomas the Train one from the past two Halloweens still fits him, so we're good! LoL

Mike was trying to talk me and the kids into doing the home wizard of oz thing with the entire family. Dorothy, tinman, scarecrow, glinda and the wicked witch. I vetoed that idea lol

My kid refuses to dress up, or I would. He is adamantly anti-costume. His costume this year was a pair of black & orange striped pajama pants and a T-shirt that said THIS IS MY COSTUME.
My friend did one of the cutest mom/child combos I have seen in recent years, her son is a HUGE Little Einsteins fan, so she did him up as Leo and herself as June. LOVE it.

My kid refuses to dress up, or I would. He is adamantly anti-costume. His costume this year was a pair of black & orange striped pajama pants and a T-shirt that said THIS IS MY COSTUME.
With my luck, that's probably how my kid will be! My husband's not into Halloween at all. He grew up in not the best neighborhood in NYC and rarely ever had a good Halloween. I'm hoping our son loves the holiday like I do!
