So I went back to work this week. I know it's only been 2 days. First of all, it is very difficult to find time to pump. I barely have time to take a break!!! Yesterday I pumped on the way to work, then I pumped twice at work, I was able to produce 2 oz more than he took in yesterday, so that was good. Today on the other hand he took 10 oz and I only pumped 7 :( Not so good. I do have some frozen stash, in fact that's what we are starting with any way and I'm freezing what I pump, but I'm very disappointed I'm not keeping up with his need. When I had DD I EP'd and after I got my supply up I was able to pump just enough for her, no extra but just enough. I hope my lil boobies will catch up to lil man. My right girl just isn't pumping good at all! I know I'm a bit stressed at work, worried about being able to pump, then worried if i'm gonna get my job done, then worried someone is looking for me. UGH, I'd much rather put him to the boob! LOL

Thanks for listening. Pray it gets better!

:hugs:

can you pump in your car on your way to work?? Maybe get a pumping bra or make one and wear a cardigan and pump away? Not sure if that's an option for you.

I think it was my left who was a bit slower.

Have oatmeal for breakfast every morning and down the water! If that doesn't work, get some Fenugreek. I hear it makes you smell like maple syrup, but hey, whatever works, right? You can do it Mama!!

Hey, make those cookies! They're yummy and boost your supply!

I will be making some before I go into labor. (The brewer's yeast is key! I found it at the Vitamin Shoppe.)

Oh and get yourself some Goat's Rue too (tablets)

:hugs: Keep up the good work! I'm on my third week of pumping. I've had one or two days where my supply seemed to be a good bit less, then it would be fine again. Maybe you just need a few days to get on a schedule?

Righty for me is the "problem" boob too! Luckily lefty more than compensates, but jeez... when I wake up, it's like twice as big!

I pumped for like 6 mo i think.
Just drink lots of water and the oatmeal saved my supply early on.

Big hugs!! Pumping at work can be sooo hard! I was an EP'er for 8 months and then I couldn't do it any more. I made the extra effort to pump heavily through the night, every 3 hours from 6 pm to 6 am, 30 minute pumping sessions, to help boost my production. I also did a LOT of massage and compression, and if one breast put out less, I pumped that one longer. I always pumped until NOTHING was coming out, then pumped 5-ish more minutes. But it's hard when someone's knocking on the door, or you've got to get back on the job.

Hang in there, mama!!! You're doing great!!!:hula:

Don't drink too much water! I made that mistake and it actually depleted my supply a bit.

You're right, I did eat lots of oatmeal with DD, need to get some this weekend, hopefully that will help. Fenugreek, what is that, where do I get it?

I EP'd with DD, and 6mo was all I could do. 6mo is my big goal, we'll see where I go from there! LOL

I EP'd for 6mo with DD, that's all I could do! LOL I'm very thankful lil man is a good nurser. I pumped during the night last ngiht after DS nursed, I know my LC told me last time that pumping at night will boost the supply because that's when ur hormones are the highest, so I'll con't to do that. But I can only pump 20min at work max and that's pushing it. Today I got 2 good pumps in at work, then came home nursed then pumped and I'm only down 1/2oz from what he ate today, that's better, I plan on pumping after each nuring session for awhile. so much for girls night out! LOL

Bad girl!

You can get fenugreek at the Vitamin Shoppe. Have you looked for http://www.amazon.com/Motherlove-Herbal-Company-Capsules-Count/dp/B001EC2NVW I have heard wonderful wonderful things about this. You might find it at Whole Foods or Mrs. Greens! (or any natural food store)
