So I get these weird impulses that make me wanna work and get Matthew in his crib and tonight was one of those weird impulses.

He has been in his crib for 40 min so far! I'm thinking tonight is going to be a LONG night and I'll probably give up after the 5th time but I am going to try very very hard to keep him in there all night long. :thumb2:

I hope it goes well for you. ;) I remember moving Talon from his bassinet in our room, to his crib in his own room at 9 weeks old. I was so worried and nervous, and he was completely fine. I think he actually slept better. It took me a couple of nights before I could relax and sleep better though.

I haven't been sleeping and it's not because he's not! He's doing perfect! I am a nervous wreck and every little peep I go in and check  Hopefully, it gets better for me :( I miss him. (I know it sounds crazy but snuggling was fun!)

How did it go? Were you able to relax and get some sleep? Did he stay in his crib all night?

He stayed until 5:30!!!! OMG it was a miracle. Then we got up and went to Home Depot to buy some paint. I don't mind the 5:30 at all as long as he sleeps in there.

He got up 2x to eat. I think it's worse when I go in there.

I was the same, except I have a video monitor and would just stare at the screen all night and watch him sleep. The first night we moved him I cried a little.:eyeroll: It felt like his first step to independence when he had always been right next to me. Anyway, less than a week later and I was loving it. ;)

Yay Matthew!! :hula: I'm so glad he's doing well! We're getting a mesh bumper because Lily ends up all over her crib, but she has been napping a bit in there. The fact that she's napping like that at all is amazing.. She definitely seems to sleep better in there though, so we'll see what happens. Now hopefully it will keep up for you!!

That's GREAT, Jo. Now, I will have to use your success story as motivation for me to get Averie into her crib too. She's been napping in there but I am still nervous about her being in there all night.
 I guess it's time to let Kevin back into our bed and put Averie in her own. It's almost embarassing to say that he's been sleeping on the couch except for weekends since she was born.
