Well, today I figured out that it is essential that Averie be buckled into her bouncy seat now (naughty me never felt the need). I was in the kitchen making breakfast and came back after literally a minute and a half to find her laying on the floor with only her head in the seat. Guess she REALLY wanted out :lol: She's FINALLY rolling over both ways; belly to back in just the past couple days. She's definitely cutting teeth and I can't believe there isn't one poking through already. Oh, and she's starting on orange veggies this past week and she HATES sweet potatoes but loves carrots.

The one thing she does that is semi-annoying is that she doesn't sleep. She doesn't nap at all during the day and she still wakes up every 2-3 hours throughout the night. I am fine with it but wish I could sleep instead of nap. Just when I think how tired I am though I think about how great it is that I am not missing anything and I certainly wouldn't trade watching her smile and coo for sleep!!

WHINE! Everything is a whine or a scream or a my-life-is-over-if-I-don't-get-my-way-right-now-this-very-second!!!!! That's annoying.

What's not annoying and almost makes up for the whining are the spontaneous kisses, hugs, and cuddles.

Sandy that is hysterical about the seat. I actually sat here laughing!

Matthew has been sleeping in his crib for 1 night! This is such a big deal because I couldn't get him to nap in it--actually he's a terrible napper. Naps in 20 min spurts--That's annoying! I know I could get him to take a long if we sleep in the same bed but I don't want to go down that path again so I am dealing with the short naps.

He's actually seeing better now too! Just last week he wouldn't even look at the tv and this week he'll actually stare at it for 10-15 min. And of course, he cries for mama which I love :love:

He doesn't roll at all but today I had him in his positioner in his crib on his side and when I went in he was screaming on his back. :hehe: So that's enough for me to consider him a genius!

Oh and if you piss him off and try to sit him down he stretches his legs to stand. It's hysterical--temper like his mommy!

Lily does things by the hour, I don't know, lol. She figured out how to pull on the carseat toy to make it play music for her :hehe:

It does sound like you've got your hands full with that little girl. Then again, with the pregnancy you had did you really expect anything else ;)

Averie likes to pull on the car seat toys too. My little muscle woman did it so hard the other day she broke it!! Stupid thing was stuck and kept making this long, constant beeping sound. Needless to say it is no longer allowed in the car :lol:
