I am not ready for Brendon's first haircut. No no no! :tissue:

I know he's starting to look a little.... scraggly. And Mike keeps reminding me. But he's my baby boy! Babies don't get haircuts! (At least, not my start-out-bald babies LOL)

I'm being a big baby. I just am not ready for him to be this old. I thought because he's a boy I wouldn't struggle with cutting his hair, but look at me, I still am

Save some. I still have Matt's curls in a bag. it's hard but they do look so handsome after :)

I regret cutting Conner's hair to this day. It was a mess and getting so long but it never grows back the same way. Its all over. Put it off as long as you can. :hehe:

It's getting long and emo-y in front and doing this weird ducktail curl thing in back . I know he needs it. Just... nooooooooooo.

I was the opposite, I was soooo ready to cut Connors when the time came and my DH didnt wanna.:hehe:

But we saved a bit of each of their first haircuts and we did them ourselves so it made the experience a bit more special.

You could have them trim it just so it's a little neater, but doesn't totally look like it's been cut into a boy haircut. ;) A scissor cut. That's what we did anyway. ;)

I thought he looked fine :thumb:

Don't cut it if you don't want to

Yes, this! Don't feel pressured into it if you don't want to. ;)

Who says boys have to have short hair? :hehe:

I say keep it long if you're having a hard time cutting it. I regretted it after Zachariah had his first cut and wished I'd let it grow longer.

Sam didn't get his first real hair cut until he was 2+. Daddy trimmed his bangs once, without asking me. But we let it grow long.

Once he got insane about washing it, though, I had to start getting it cut and now it's super short. Otherwise, he had gunk in his hair and it was just gross.

I agree with giving Brendon a scissor-trim, just to neaten things up. It might be easier on you!

I'm not gonna push myself. I told Mike yesterday to please stop pushing the issue, and I'll let him know when I'm ready to. As long as I brush it after his bath it doesn't look bad. It just gets crazy looking if you towel it off and then leave it :hehe:.

Crazy is ok. I've seen Mike with some crazy hair. :hehe: I think Brendon's hair is fine.

 Mike actually cut off all his own hair today (not bald, just really short). I was like :look: and he was like "I messed up, so I just cut it all off. And my beard." :hehe:. I'm just like "Uh... alright." As long as he doesn't gripe about me lightening my hair I won't gripe about him ditching 85% of his! :p
