We're back...

And I'm exhausted... :p It was a busy weekend but we had fun. Ben woke up at 4 am this morning and wouldn't go back to sleep so I brought him into bed with me. He fell asleep but woke up as soon as I put him back into his bed and wanted to come back into bed with me (we share a room with my niece) so, not wanting to wake up my niece, I obliged and he slept in the single bed with me. I learned 2 things last night: 1) Ben is nowhere near ready for a bed of his own. He sleeps like a maniac, flipping, turning and flailing all over the place so he'd be out of his bed and on the floor in seconds. 2) I am not cut out for co-sleeping. Between the kicks, the elbows, being smothered by his blankie and almost pushed out of the bed, it's not something I want to do again anytime soon... :blush:

Oh, and it snowed this morning. Yes, we had a snowstorm. May 31 and it snowed. :rolleyes:

Glad to hear you had a great weekend (despite the snow!) Co-sleeping can be quite the task. While I love snuggling with Will, sometimes I am happiest when we are each in our own bed. Even as little as he is he is still a bed hog!

Welcome back! Glad you had fun and sorry for the poor nights sleep. I can't imagine sleeping with Talon either. He is a maniac in his sleep. Everytime I check on him he's at a different end of his crib. :p

Can't believe you got snow in May. That's crazy!

Oh and co-sleeping isn't easy though it is warm and snuggly but not when you're being pushed off the bed by a tiny person.

Glad you had a great time minus the snow. The very few times we have co-slept with Sara was not fun. She sleeps weird and likes to kick you in the face and moves around way too much, she is so not ready for a toddler bed either. Oh and I admit it :blush: I have had to shove her a few times to keep myself from falling off the bed.

Sorry you didn't get much sleep. Must be a toddler thing, Ava is a crazy sleeper too. She has fallen sleep in my bed before and she ends up beating me up...not fun. I can't imagine sharing a single bed with a toddler.:p
