I am on a mission. I need to lose weight/tone. You all saw my babywearing pictures in the photo booth, I really need to get on it. So at the beach today, Jay & I decided to buy a treadmill or elliptical trainer (we have slightly different views here..) With his work schedule and my classes, it will be easier than going to the gym, at least for now.

So, we'll get it sometime this week/weekend. I'm also throwing my crunches routine into the mix, though not sure how often yet. I used to do 1000/day- 500 in the morning, 500 at night. I think I'll start with 2 sets of 100/day. My goal is to wear a bikini by the end of the season here (sometime in late Sept/early Oct) I never talk about when I'm dieting/exercising, etc., but I figured I would post this so I had to answer to someone!

Sooo.. I'm going to try to keep up with this. I'm determined. I have got to get back in shape!! So, if I quickly stop talking about my progress, ask me how I'm doing and shame me into it :hehe: Oh, and any good tips, please share!

Good luck! But tell me again, what is that you want to lose?!?!?! In your pics you look fit and dont need anything to be done!! :eyeroll:

Will you follow any specific diet? or just eating healthier? If you want we can become buddies :D I have been in a diet for like more than 3 weeks now. I did eat cr@p in 3 different occasions, and only walked like 4 times in the whole 3 weeks, but now I am more committed because I am walking on a daily basis! :hula:

I think if there is a walking schedule, just watch what you eat, and you will do fine!

Good luck!! :hula:

I'm not really focusing on a number so much as getting toned. I need to fix my poor thighs and get in some better shape. I'm not really dieting too much, particularly since I'm still breastfeeding. I'm trying to cut the junk a bit, but won't do to much of a diet until I'm done breastfeeding (both for Lily's sake and my own excuse to eat!!) I figure if I start with the exercise, after I stop with her I can add in dieting if I really want to. More than anything, I want the toning and the energy. Getting back to a size 4-6 would be okay too, though that's a long term goal!!

Why did the little tune "We must, we must, we must increase our bust" come to mind when I read this? (I am totally joking!!!)

The only advice I have is if you have any joint issues at all the elliptical will be gentler. I had to switch from a treadmill to an elliptical because of a bum knee and it hurts my hip joints.

I have total confidence you'll be able to reach your goal and rock that bikini this summer!

 Sandy, you are too funny! And, um, no.. these suckers are dd's while breastfeeding and were d's before I was pregnant with Lily (once upon a time I was a c, but that was before having Tyler!). So, no.....

I was going to vote for elliptical for joint issues and back pain, too. I need to get toned and in shape, too. My goal is to get in shape by Vegas or before. That being said...I have zero motivation.

Get a Pilates DVD! Those things are great and can really help along with your cardio.
