Gabriel is doing AWESOME! I don't know if you all remember, but he didn't start crawling until 13 months, and walking at 18 months. We were not "worried" but were kinda wondering at that time if there was something going on developmentally. So we got in touch with this program that would go out and just work with him and evaluate him and give us goals as to what we could help him with. So fast forward to now and they did an evaluation and he scored the highest in every category. Just makes me feel good to know that he has definitely caught up to what he "should be" doing and there will be no more wondering what's going on.
Back in October he began this thing where he would get really, really, really upset and scream and cry to the point of throwing up. This went on for several months, many doctors appointments, ear tubes, adenoid removal and on and on and the doc said he just has a sensitive gag reflex. He was congested ALL the time. It was difficult. Come to find out, he's highly allergic to peanuts, and also allergic to walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, and pistachios. We hadn't been feeding him these things on a regular basis, but we checked labels and cut out anything that said "could contain..." or "processed in a plant that...." and have noticed a DRASTIC change in his temperment and all of it. I am so happy to have FINALLY figured this out... and feeling a little - okay, a lot - guilty that we didn't think of it sooner.
He's talking up a storm and is just so so so much fun to be around!!
Caitlin is also doing really well. She's crawling for sure, pulling up on anything and everything, and is starting to cruise. She is such a happy little thing and has this cheesy grin that is to-die-for. She loves her big brother to pieces and I love watching them play. Gabriel is mostly in the "MINE!!" phase, but every once in a while he brings her something of his to play with and it's the sweetest thing ever.
My kids are simply amazing and I don't know how I ever lived without them!
Sorry for the novel!!

That is CRAZY!! (and scary). I'm wondering if Matt has food sensitivity issues because he's always so upset over everything but I think it's his personality.
Matt has been doing great! He's still his whiney old self and the tantrums are out of this world. If he can't get a puzzle piece back in or a straw in a cup he flips the F out. He's still not talking but has his own "words" that we use to communicate with. Hopefully he starts soon so his frustrations can subside. He loves to dance and give high five.
James is well 6 days old and doesn't do much but sleep, eat and poop. He's very quiet and only cries if he's starving (or I accidentally clip his finger in his car seat )
Overall both boys are healthy and doing well :)

The kids are great. Maddy continues to grow like a weed. She had her 2 year check up at the beginning of the month. She was 28.8 pounds. The dr was impressed with how much she can say, and how she knows her colors and stuff. Talked about how she was very advanced for her age. I swear it still has to do with the other two being older. Mike just swears she is a genius!:hehe:
Her new thing is telling the same two stories all the time, to anyone that will listen. First she tells everyone, even the dr, that "Mama got oose. Ent in row". Llama got loose, went in the road. lmao, from her birthday party. Then while we were at the drs, she heard someone crying and she threw her hand up to her ear, and say "its a cicket. (cricket). I told her no, that a baby got a shot. and when we walked out the room, the little boy came walking out too. So I told her that see it was a boy not a cricket. Now she tells everyone " Baby got shot, its boy, not a cicket. LMAO it's so cute

Aidan is a talker :hehe: She LOVES preschool and her little daily notes always say, "Mood: Nurturing and Talkative!" They say nurturing, we say BOSSY! She likes to be in control and tells people what's up. She can count to 10 with help and sings 1/2 of the ABCs. She talks from the moment she wakes up to the moment before she goes to bed...:faint: lol....so much talking! She's tall and thinning out...she's not even 2 but in 3T clothing for the length.
She loves to tell us the stories of her and Alice  "Ahlee ehn strolly! BEBE! ehn strolly! Jdump jdump! Airpwane! Awww bye bye Ahlee..."
I think we're taking her birthday party to Chuck E. Cheese's this year. :hehe: Just for people to come and hang out and no mess at home :thumb: I need to keep it simple right now and this seems to be the right decision. I'll still make her cake though
Dylan starts middle school on Monday. She's nervous. She'll be ok but it is a little nervewracking. But she has all her supplies and all new clothes, so she's ready! She's also a PITA. Her attitude is less than desirable lately unless our actions are all about her. She is like a 2 year old with her "mine" "mine" bs. She doesn't want to share anything but feels like she can take whatever she wants...like my old purse :buttkick:
So. That's that. :hehe: We're good.

Tes, we're doing Chuck E Cheese this year, too. Not really my favorite option, but we need the space! We won't be buying the party package, since it's a ripoff anyway (an 8 inch cake? Come on, get serious here...). Just using their facilities and ordering some of their pizza :hehe:. We'll be doing it on a Monday night though, to avoid the crowds.
Brendon has... 3 or 4 teeth coming in right now, two have cut through and the others are close. So... sleep has not been the best. Not the worst, but he's definitely getting less than he's used to. He just had his 9 month checkup; 24 pounds even, 30 inches tall :hula:. Definitely slimmer than Alice was at his age .
Alice is talking up a storm ever since Aidan was here! I guess because Aidan talks, it's cool to her now :hehe:. Her favorite thing right now is following Brendon around saying his name very sternly. She's very close to understanding how to pedal on her tricycle. But not close to understanding she doesn't need to be running everything over. She's in her toddler bed, but I still want to go ahead and get her a twin size mattress.
Baby number three seems fine. I still don't feel much, I'm wondering if I have an anterior placenta again.

William is doing good. He's crazy but good. He has so much energy I just can't keep up. I can't wait for Daddy to be home so he can wrestle with him a little. He's talking pretty well but at the same time he doesn't say too much. He is definitely more of a motor skills kid. He can catch a ball, dribble the soccer ball, run really well, jump with both feet off the ground at the same time. He was eating really well but he's getting his upper canines in so he eats a lot less at each sitting but makes up for it by eating twice as many times a day.
He has been able to talk to Daddy on Skype and it's amazing to me how excited he gets seeing him. The first time we talked to him (last Saturday), he grabbed the curtains behind my couch and said "And go!" and tried to swing on them! :hehe: Yesterday when we talked to Daddy they were having a muscle off and were showing each other their "guns" Will kept saying "Nice, Daddy!"

My boys are stressed and acting out. I understand why I just cant figure out how to curb it a bit so its manageable and liveable.
Connor is getting sooooooo bad, he's mean and smartmouthed and just way over the top with his attitude. I know he has behavioral issues and so the stress isnt helping I just dont know how to calm it and smooth it a bit.
Avery is getting smartmouthed too but I realize he's mimicking his big brother a lot(plus he's 4 so age comes into play too).
Devinn is helpful and sassy per usual. He's my adventurous boy who is the only one willing to see a bug and pick up a shoe and squish it!:hehe: The other two wig and run but Devinn goes "ewww buggie" and finds my shoe and thats that!!
I love my boys but dang the stress is gonna take us all out if this keeps up.

Isabella is doing fine. She's been a bit out of sorts because I've been so sick but otherwise she's fine.
Talking up a storm. She is big time into pretend play with her dolls/toys. She feeds them and pretends to do stuff with them. It's hilarious. She also told us yesterday that there was a *insert sign for alligator* was in the bushes but he was nice. When I asked if he wanted to be friends with her she said "Noooooooooooooooooooooooo" and rolled her eyes. Diva. LOL

Conner is doing great. Working on his 2 year molars at the moment which had turned him into a whine monster. He started riding his bike ( Mickey mouse tricycle) last month. He's gotten really good at steering. He's awesome. He loves talking to Daddy on the phone and Eric loves it too. A while ago I got Conner calling him Daddy instead of Dada so he gets on the phone and says "hi daddy!" and to say bye to people he says "awight peace toodles" :hehe: He is starting to put a lot of words together now. I'm loving it! We can really sit and have a conversation some what. Even though I'm really the only one who understands what he's saying lol

William is doing well. He’s right on track with everything. He does talk and knows certain words well, but still prefers to just chat gibberish most of the time. We started reading his colour/number/shape books and he FINALLY likes books. Up until last month he would sit for 5 seconds and then get up and find something more exciting to do. Now (like this morning) he actually asked for his book and goes and gets it to read. It’s wicked. He can say and pick out lots of animals and says some colours but hasn’t quite realized which colours are which. And he knows and says most body parts.
He’s VERY smart, is a very quick learner and can understand most things that we ask him but like I said he doesn’t talk as much as some of these little ladies seem to. He’s still signing certain words instead of saying them but that’s fine with us - he’s communicating!
Other than that he’s growing like a weed and is a big boy for sure. He’s in a big boy bed when he stays at Nana and Grampas – this only started because they had no playpen one weekend, and he actually LOVED it and slept really well for them in it, so it’s staying that way. At home he’s still in his crib tho! Haha I’m mean, but he’s safe and doesn’t climb out!

Sam has his first non-daycare friend, Teddy. Teddy is 3.5 to Sam's 2.5, but they're the same size! We had a play date at the park Saturday and it went well.
Emotionally, I have no clue what's going on with him. He had one good week of going to sleep easily and now he's back to fighting about it every night. His new thing is wanting his light on. Doug's afraid that Sam is scared of the dark, so he thinks we should turn the light on for him. I think it's a delay tactic so he can avoid sleep - the kid's got 2 nightlights and a lamp but wants the overhead light on. NO.
Physically, I am concerned. Sam's growth pattern is: his torso grows, he gets chubby, his legs grow. Every time. Right now he's in a chubby phase and it's starting to worry me again. I hope that soon his legs grow. I know his diet is not the best - he doesn't eat enough veggies. It's a tough balancing act between healthy eating and food fights.
Intellectually, he's doing well. Knows all of his ABCs - both saying/singing them, and identifying the letter. We're working on phonics. He's having trouble getting from 14 to 20 but we're working on it. He's learned to count on his fingers so I am looking to get him an abacus for Christmas and start counting beads to get him up to 100. He sings at least 10 songs now and he can carry a tune well.

Wow, I can't believe how the past 6 months have FLOWN by! Andrew goes in for his 6 month well baby and shots on Friday, so I will have updated stats then, however last month he was 17+pounds, so I'm expecting around 19# Friday. He's an inch away from outgrowing his infant carrier. He's already cut his two bottom teeth and I'm pretty sure he's working on at least a third. He LOVES solids and prefers them to breast or bottle. I'm still BF'ing but we're starting to supplement more with formula. I always gave myself a goal of 6 months and with work I have to say I will miss the closeness/bond that BF has brought us, but I will be glad to start working out and being able to have a drink or two once in a while.
Andrew has finally started to roll back to belly, and he can scoot in circles :hehe: He is close to sitting up on his own and you can tell he'd rather be sitting up than laying down. Just yesterday, he squealed for the first time at home while playing with one of the cats. We got a very short video of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B23NsiqGEQs He still wants to be the center of attention and gives everyone big gummy smiles everywhere we go.
Also, sad but I have to wash his 12 month wardrobe :( He's about a week away from outgrowing the 9 month clothes :(

Addie just had her 2 year well check. She was 3 feet tall and 29 lbs. 90% for height and 80% for weight. Everyone always comments on how tall she is. :hehe:
Just in the past week or so she's started saying 2-3 word phrases. Mostly "me too!" which also means "me do!". She's talking up a storm too. Saying all kinds of new words.
She figured out she was strong enough to open the fridge, so I keep a sippy cup in there that she can get out by herself. She's very independent and wants to do everything herself and loves to help do stuff for you too.
To say she's spoiled is an understatement. She got so much stuff for her b-day, I honestly don't know what's left for Christmas. We're running out of room in our house for our stuff, too. She's gradually taking over.
