I have to leave to go to the doctors in a few minutes and I'm really worried about what he is going to say. I never healed from giving birth back in February and at my six week pp exam my doc said he wanted me to come back in 6 more weeks to see if I need surgery. Well today is the day. It's been 8 weeks and I know I'm still not healed. I'm pretty much planning on having surgery but thinking about what they will have to do scares me. Bah!! I gotta go wake Shane up so we can leave. I'll try to update tonight. Wish me luck!!

Thanks guys!! I do have to have surgery:cry: but it's what I expected to hear. I'm not sure what the extent of it is yet and won't know until Thursday. I have another appt. with the ob/gyn to find out more. I know they have to take a fairly large area out and restich me back out. I hope they can get this over with soon. I guess this is what happens when your baby comes out sideways! I'm not as worried anymore for the moment. Thursday will be a whole other story.

Oh no! I'm sorry you're going through all this. Owie!
OMG! That sounds so scary. Forgive me if this sounds totally stupid feel free to not answer but what do they have to do surgery on? What actually happened? If it's too much answer like I said please don't. I'm just curious
I'm sorry.
I'm so sorry. I hope they can repair it easily and get you back to your regular self. ;)

I had a forcep delivery because Shane was face up and as they were trying to help me turn him a got a fever and his heart rate was very high. I think it was just 180 and it was normally in the 130's. Well when my doctor was pulling him out he turned and his shoulders came through sideways which ripped me pretty badly. I had a lot of bloodloss and I had 50-100 stitches. Well now it just never "came together" is what they tellme. So I guess there is a space. I'm not really sure but I don't want to see it. They said if they just stitch it up it won't work. They have to take out the area..which is pretty big...and they restich it. I find out all the details tomorrow.

Thanks girls!! I have an update. I went in today and should have surgery on the 7th of July. But they might have to change the date. He said he will probably have to keep me overnight and recovery will be like I just had a normal delivery...whatever that feels like. He is going to have to do a lot more reconstructing than I thought. I'm pretty stressed out since I have never had surgery before. I just want it all over with.

I'll be thinking of you. It sounds like you have a doctor that's being great about taking care of you and the details with it all. I've had a few surgeries and while they're scary and not fun, they're usually worth it. So....you can do it! :support:

I have to see what DH can do. He is pretty much my only help. He is in the air force so my family is far away. My mil lives an hour away but she is not very helpful. :eyeroll:
