***This is NOT a debate***

Where is your toddlers carseat in the car? Middle? Side?

On the passengers side (back seat of course). That way if I need to hand him something I'm not bending in weird ways. I would go with whatever You could kinda sorta easily reach or if he is one that likes to look out, put him in the middle so he could see out the front window. I think it's all about the convenience.

In our car, behind the passenger side seat. We have enough room in the Fusion to put her in the middle, but then she wouldn't have cupholders and MIL wouldn't have as much room when she rides with us to and from work. In FILs truck, middle of the back seat.

Middle, back seat, rear facing.

Will change to the side (obviously) when we install the snug ride.

In the middle:))but I have 3 kids in the backseat:hehe:. If I put Cohen in the middle he blocks the A/C vents because he is rear-facing. And big brother needs on the back passenger side for when he is let out for school in the mornings, so he just ended up being the one stuck in the middle;)

Right now Averie is on the passenger side captain's chair in the van. I haven't even really thought about the baby's seat yet. It's ready to be installed but I don't think we will actually install it until at the hospital after she comes.

Ava's seat is in the middle of the backseat.

William is on the driver's side in the backseat. The latches in our car are only on the sides.

Connor is in the last row and on the passenger side.

In our storage unit. We only had to buy one for the taxi ride home from the hospital and just in case we have to take a taxi at some point while he's still small enough to need one.

Side, drivers side. That's the way it latches in - I don't think it can in the middle. He's forward facing. Once bean comes they'll each be on a side.

I can't wait to get a SUV instead of a Car....I love my roomie taurus, but I miss tall vehicles....being tall in a car putting a heavy toddler in is hard on the back!

I'm asking because I feel better with Conner in the middle. But I got
my new car last night and the latches are under the two side seats. Is it safe to put him in the middle and still use the latches on each side?

Cash was always behind the passenger seat until Daisy was born, now he's behind my seat and she's on the passenger side. Cindy my latches are on the side seats too, that's why I didn't feel safe putting Cash in the middle.

I have it in the middle now and it doesn't move much but I am just unsure.

Duncan was always in the middle in both our cars until John came along. Now they are on the sides and its SO much easier to get him in and out. Especially since I was humongously pregger and trying to snap him in a car seat in the back of a two door car..

Cindy, I always thought that you had to use the latches on one side or the other. Just to be on the safe side, you might call Ford and ask them? I don't know. The pictures in my manual made me think you had to use one side or the other. Sam is on the passenger side.

I put him on the passenger side today. I think I might go up to the fire department and see if anyone is certified there and see if they can help or something.

Your car probably has the side curtain airbags. A lot of new cars are using those and that's why the latches are on the side seats. Plus if you seat is a fold down seat that is why they aren't in the middle any more as well. We use the latches and the tether system for Will's seat.

I'm no help at all, but Mackenzie is behind the passenger seat. I like being able to see her and hand her stuff while I'm driving. Plus this way, when parking on a street, she gets out on the curb side.

I forgot what we did when we had this...Matt was in the middle rear facing and I can't for the life of me remember what we did. I know I tethered it to the floor latch but not sure where else.

Sierra sits behind the passenger seat and Layla sits behind the driver's seat in my car and the positions are opposite in DH's car. Baby boy is gonna have to be strapped to the roof if we don't hurry up and get an SUV! :hehe:

DS is on the passenger side, DD on the driver side. I'd rather her be on the passenger side, but that leaves DS crawling over her at school pick up.
