I don't know who came up with the idea/design plan for the jumperoo but I would like to thank them. And hug them. Lots.

Ben loved it and now Thomas is happily bouncing while chewing on the little bug thingy (is it possibly a butterfly?) that's attached. He loves it. He'd stay in there for hours if I'd let him. He loves to bounce. Even when he's mad, tired of being in there and *****ing at me about it he's still bouncing. :hehe:

Anybody else have a crazy bouncer baby? This thing has to be one of the greatest inventions ever. ;)

Is that like one of those things that goes in the doorway? We have one. Duncan was not a fan. He would tolerate it for a few min, then get annoyed. But I have a feeling John will love it. He's so unbelievably happy and relaxed.

They both love/d the exercauser. Duncan likes to show John how all the buttons work! :hehe:

Oh yeah, Cash & Daisy both. I credit Cash's mad Jumperoo addiction with why he walked so early, built up strong legs muscles.

Patty, it's not the doorway kind, it's free standing but the same idea

It's like an exersaucer only it has a metal frame and the 'seat' hangs from springs.

We have a Jolly Jumper too (that's one that hangs from the doorway). We take that with us when we go anywhere. :hehe: My mom has a Jolly Jumper at her house, which is handy, and he uses it all the time. The jumperoo seems to be more fun because he's got stuff to play with while he's in it. We hang toys from the Jolly Jumper when he's in it so he has something to do other than just bounce. We use these rings so we can adjust the length:

Oh! Cool! Wish I got one of those instead of the exersaucer! I'm gonna have to get the doorway jumper out now and see if John likes it!

Aven loves it too! It's also the perfect place to put her and throw in Baby Einstein while I hop in the shower.

They're both awesome. I like the Jolly Jumper because you can move it anywhere there's a door frame. My mom has a hook in her living room ceiling that we use and they've got one with a frame too (my sister picked it up at a consignment store for $20!).

And in the jumperoo in the backyard here at home:

I wish they made grown up jumpers! Though I guess we would just rip the door frame off! :hehe:

Thomas is so freaking cute!

Oh we had an exersaucer but we got rid of it because DH thought it compressed Matt's balls and he didn't want to use it anymore. So none of those fun things for us.

Never had one, but I have heard great things about them...

I asked my BIL, who is a urologist, about that and he said it's not a worry. They're still so small that it's not going to harm them. He said they haven't actually dropped down yet (or something like that) so there's nothing to squish. :hehe: Now, if they were in it hours upon hours every day for a few years, yes, it would be harmful but for a little while every day while they're babies it's not a big deal.

We had a jolly jumper that I gave to a friend who was having twins.

For this baby, I would love to get one of those jumperoos.

We do have a version of an exersaucer, and it had bouncing - not as much as the jumpers, of course - but Sam would bounce as hard as he could and CONSTANTLY. He loved that thing. He'd get in it while I was in the shower and never make a peep.

DH doesn't want to hear it  Someone took it off our lawn when we left it out for donations.

Lauren, they're worth the money you pay for them. I think we got ours on sale so it wasn't quite as expensive. :twothumbs:

Jo, just wait until your DH has to spend an hour or two entertaining James and he might change his mind. I can actually get things done when Thomas is bouncing. It's awesome!

Craigslist is the best source for Jumperoos. People are constantly selling like new ones for $20-$40

Exactly what I was thinking! Those things are a life saver!

Side note - I had to raise the exersaucer for John last night! He's getting so big! I didn't get the doorway jumper out yet b/c the cleaning lady comes today. I'll take it out tonight. :))
