just took his first step :yikes:

It was a small one, and he fell down, but he did it.

Last night he randomly started standing on his own, without holding onto anything. He's been doing it a lot this morning. He came up to me and climbed up to standing, then took one step! And then fell :hehe:.

He suddenly seems very determined to be able to chase after his sister. Man, it is going to get a liiiittle crazy in here when both of these guys are running all over the place. Really is time for a bigger abode... :hehe:

I'm not ready for him to not be a baby anymore :hehe:. Everyone expects that since we're expecting another that I'm sitting here in some rush for him to grow up already, but that's totally not the case. It's still bittersweet! :(

Even when Andrew does something new, I think to myself that he's growing up way too fast! I am ready to send him to kindergarten though. :lol: Elise, while still a baby, is well ahead of where Andrew was -- she's crawling fast all over the house. It makes me so sad yet proud at the same time.

Wow he isn't wasting any time is he! He's not allowed to grow up this fast! He wants to give you a run for your money. Two kids walking around causing trouble together while Mommy has a newborn. Or even before that when Mommy is waddling around slowly. :hehe:

He just wants so badly to be able to chase Alice properly :hehe:. Lately they chase each other up and down the hallway, but he's still crawling so he isn't as fast as he'd like to be.
