Today we go to the new pedi. Wish me luck. Both boys...probably a dose of shots :look:

This should be fun (good news is my MIL is coming with me.)

:woohoo:

I think I found a pedi I like!! It's about time. He's really relaxed about things and doesn't go by the books. YOu know, those stupid little check lists they have and then they make you feel guilty for things. So Matthew is doing really well and he said with his speech as long as he's "talking" to you in his own way that's perfectly fine! So I feel great about that. And so many other things but I can't type them all out and no one really cares any way :hehe:

James is 10.3lbs and 22"
Matt is 24lbs and 34"

Oh and no shots for James! Matthew just got a flu shot and he said I come whenever for the others :D (probably at his 2 year). And he was not condescending about Matt not having cows milk and was satisfied that he got breast milk. Thank goodness! (I keep remembering things I liked about him )

Jo, I am so glad you found a doctor you like - I think truly liking the pedi is the first and biggest step in actually TRUSTING what he tells you. I lucked up with a GREAT doctor for Sam, but I refuse to see any other doctor in the practice because I don't like the others at all. It really matters.

I'm glad both boys are doing so well - and I would think any pedi would be THRILLED that Matt is getting breast milk instead of cow's milk. Also - I'm really glad he doesn't do the whole guilt-trip thing. No one needs that from their kid's doctor!

He's very knowledgeable with BFing which I needed. The other doctors...not so much. He thinks James' problem is not reflux or dairy sensitivity but just my supply issue and my foremilk issue(which is why he's so poopy/gassy) so we're working on that.

Thanks Lauren.
