How are you today...?

So you know how people ask how you are? And you always say I'm good and you? (at least I do.)

Well that's what I did at the register in Target. And you know what? The man starts going on and on and on about how he had to come into work and how he needs money and blah blah blah. I finally had enough--plus I was sweating like a pig trying to get all the items loaded back into the carriage after he crammed them into bags--and stopped listening and responding.

My DH ALWAYS says "Never been better" to anyone that asks him. People love it and I've seen people who, after 5 years of not seeing my DH, have said "Hey, never been better??" :lolcry:
