:(

I guess there's no way to completely keep big brother's germs away. Aiden was only sick once his first year of life (at 11 months!)

A sick baby this small scares me. He doesn't have a fever, just a cough and really mucousy poops. Is that normal?

It seems normal to my memory. I'm sure you know, but a cool moist air vaporizer is great, elevating his bed so that his head is up, using saline and the bulb to clear his nose occasionally if he starts having mucous in his nose...all of those help!

Awww.... Poor little guy! :bluehug:

It's heartbreaking to hear little babies cough. Thomas has had 2 colds already and they both broke my heart. The booger sucker is amazing (we have a HydraSense aspirator) to clean out the nose and I fed him often to keep him hydrated.

I hope he's feeling better soon! :support:

I remember when J was about 7 months old he got a cold and he had mucous in his poo! I hope Connor is feeling better soon! :support:

oh and i agree that nose sucker (blue bulb syringe they give you at the hospital) worked wonders for us! ;)

Totally normal. If they have mucous in their nose, they make mucous in all of the other places too. Poor little guy. The good news is you're nursing and that will probably keep him from being as sick as he could be. Aven had RSV at 2 months as well as the rest of us, and hers was not nearly as bad as ours. :hugs:

Aw, poor guy! John got croup from Duncan when he was only a month or so old. He coughed for a few days, but Duncan definitely got it worse. I'll just credit breastfeeding for that one, whether it helped or not. Just keep an eye out for a fever and suck those boogies!

Hope he feels better soon!
