Conner had his one year appointment today! He's doing great. :)) He's 22 lbs 14 oz and 30 1/2 in long. He had to get four shots. I hate that they don't do them like the infants, he got stuck 4 different times and he was NOT happy. And got blood drawn to check his iron and he did great, well as great as a little one can do! But all around he is doing good and now we just have to work on getting rid of the bottle and getting him on milk. He hates milk so we're going to try half formula and half milk and slowly get him off formula. She said he would be okay to take him off his special formula and have him on regular to switch so that will save us some money. But that's about it. My big boy is healthy!
Aww what a big boy! Poor guy with the shots. It's so heartbreaking :(

Good job, Conner!!!! My friend struggled with getting her boy off of formula so she went one ounce at a time per bottle for 3 or 4 days and then added another ounce of milk to each bottle. By the time it changed her son loved his milk!! :hmmm:
I can't believe he's a year old. It's so hard to remember him past his up at all hours of the night baby to this!!! :dancingbaby:

That's what we're doing Farah. Tonight we started with 2 oz of milk with 6 oz of formula and at first and yeah he hated it but eventually he drank it. So this will be fun. lol Then we gotta get him off his bottle and he loves that dang thing. I think it'll be easier once he is on all milk because he likes his sippys with straws.
I'm glad he had a good appointment other than all those pokies. He is about the same size Talon was at his appointment (12 months). As far as the milk/bottle thing...I am still trying to figure out and decide what I want to do with that here too. ;)

Glad he had a good appt. To get Eli off the formula I did EVERYTHING I even put just a wee bit of chocolate powder and it didn't work. I got him Silk the one for kids and he LOVED it. Now he drink reg. milk. Good Luck Cindy! The bottle thing wasn't hard for us b/c Eli never cared for it. I just packed them up and gave him sippys all the time.
