So, I am the kind of person that if I get to feel something, I run over the STUPID net and search.

I have been having weird things going on. My periods have been full of clots, not big, tinny ones, but a lot for the first 2 days and on the 3rd a little. I have also been feeling swollen on my lower abdominal side as well as today DH and I had sex and thru intercourse I felt pain? I dont know how the pain was but I was kindda putting pressure on the uterus and felt kindda painful? After sex I also felt like period-like cramps... I started to concentrate to see if it was burning sensation and it wasnt, I dont know, its been a while since we havent done it like a week or 1.5 weeks coz I still do not have my libido back (which I need to talk to doc about this) and I am not sure what to think??

Anyone here has endometriosis? can anyone develop this after not having it? I am going tomorrow to see my doctor and get a pap smear done as week, I am so freaked out I dont want to be diagnosed with endo..

UPDATE

Went today to doc and had U/S done and guess what? It seems I have severe IBS. WTF, does IBS do this? He said that the clots during period are normal and shouldnt worry. I always used to have clots but seemed they were showing for 2 days which almost never had it. He also told me to go and see him a day prior to when next AF arrived to do some tests and be on the safe side but he says that he is 99% sure there is nothing wrong bec uterus seemed great and ovaries as well.

IBS - I have IBS but didnt know it could be this evil? bloating from it and pains from it. He also said that during intercourse it can hurt as well. Got some medicine and will take it and hope it goes away, he said the severity of how I have it it could send me to the hospital if untreated.

SO MAD AT IBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been living with endometreosis for 20 years, it's not something to panic about! Yes, the painful heavy periods suck, but it's not the end of the world. It's a myth that endo affects your fertility. The reason people have thought that is that it takes a laproscopy to truly diagnose endo, and most people will never have one unless they are looking for an answer to infertility. The truth is loads of fertile women are walking around with it and just never know.

Truth be told, with the swelling and pain during sex, I'd be more likely to think you may have a cyst. Which again, is not a huge deal, easily treated! Don't panic :support:

I was thinking cyst, too. I have endo and PCOS. Endo is the lesser of the two evils. I do get pain with Endo, but no swelling, especially not located in one area. A cyst would do that, though.

Just talk to your doc about it when you go in. A cyst is really no big deal. Usually easily treatable.

I just went to the dr. and they said i have endo and cysts I'm also in the process of going to some specialists to get more info on this. I don't have pain but i do have bloating and pressure occasionally in my lower abdomen.

Just wanted to offer a hug!! It sounds like you've got so much going on, and you could use a few hugs, even if I don't have any advice.

Good luck at the doctor's office!

Ugh, sorry about the IBS, my best friend has it and I know it's not fun. But I'm glad there's nothing wrong with your reproductive system!
