Did you have any Post Partum help? If you did was that person helpful? If you didn't would you next time around?

No, I had lots and lots of offers for it. But no I wanted to do it all myself...It's just the way I am...

Me too Ashley.

I didn't want any help and then realized how little sleep we were getting and desperately needed it. Plus my mom was BEGGING to come stay and then 3 days later she wanted to go home :lol:

We didn't have anyone there to help. I'm not sure I'd really want any because my Mom would have probably drove me insane and no one else would have offered but her. lol

DH was able to stay home for 3 weeks. That's all I wanted. Had anyone else wanted to be around I probably would have killed them :blush:

Me To! :hehe: DH's parents and my parents would have moved in with us and never left had I let them, and took over my house! They drove me nuts as it was with all the surprise visits...:eyeroll:

I didn't want my mom over either in the beginning but then I gave in. She wanted to be here so badly and I needed sleep badly. It worked out. She didn't annoy me surprisingly but about 3 weeks later she did and I tore her a new one and then apologized cause I really hurt her feelings :blush:

Dh got a couple weeks off, and he helped out.

My parents and best friend came for a couple days after the delivery. I don't think I could have handled someone being here for more than a couple days.:eyeroll:

DH was home for a week, and then my in-laws dumped on me 3 days in...I ended up with SEVERE post-partum anxiety and a staph infection in my c-section incision...so it ended up being for the best. I also had my Mom and Dad 30 minutes away. Don't know what I would have done without them!!

Nope, we had rules. No family was allowed to come for the first few weeks (easy since none of our family lives anywhere near us!) Jay had some time off and it was all I wanted- both times.
