I was chastised for not putting Annie to sleep on her stomach...HELLOOOO, people...things have CHANGED!!
Worst advice I ever got was to give her bottles of water to keep her full. Yeah, negative.

To let someone else drive so that I could "just take the baby out of the carseat" if she got hungry. Ummm, what kind of stupid do you have to be to recommend that a baby be out of their carseat while cruising down the highway at 65mph?? :eyeroll:

For us it was to let him CIO. It just didn't work for us. Everyone said I was spoiling him and just to let him cry cry cry and we would both get over it.

Mine would be that if you held him to much he would be spoiled.

My father couldn't understand why we needed a carseat! He kept saying But he's so small! It's like yes dad that IS WHY he needs to be in a carseat.

My mom said the same thing! :eyeroll: When we brought him home from the hospital. She said ...oh no..you're going to put him in there? Yea, mom...it's the law.
The same as Cindy...that he would be spoiled if I held him too much or always picked him up when he cried and that sometimes I should just let him cry. Whatever!
