I don't know how much more ****ing diflucan I can possibly take but I think I have thrush AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! This sucks so much because I was starting a new freezer stash and now I can't because of the yeast or possible yeast infection.

I started the apple cider vinegar baths again and started James on the Nystatin AGAIN. I read online about using Virgin coconut oil (is organic the same??) because I have some in the pantry. And I'll just have to keep up this regimen FOREVER.

I am still taking the acidopholus and ran out of APNO but just refilled it. UGH! I wish I could catch a break in this ****ty BFing department.

Wherever I read says not to freeze the milk cause it doesn't kill the yeast but that's good to know that you did it and were fine :))

Well, I wouldn't say that much... maybe that is why we battled it for such a long time? And come to think of it, we never had any more thrush problems after we moved to FL and it just so happens I had to throw out all the frozen milk before I moved and rarely pumped after I moved. Coincidence?

OH man. I can sympathize mama. BTW I've been using coconut oil just on my nips for healing at the suggestion of my LC and it's better then any lanolin/nipple butter I've ever used.

Jo, what makes you think you have thrush (I swear that isn't as rude sounding as it is LOL).

Just wondering what symptoms you/James have? There are several things out there that can and often are misdiagnosed as Thrush or repeated thrush. Have you heard of Nipple Vasospasms? That's actually very often diagnosed as Thrush as they can have similar symptoms.

it doesn't sound like I have vasospasms...but wtf do I know? James' tongue has the white stuff and his butthole is red again :rolleyes: My nipples are off colored if that makes any sense. They do look purplish if I squeeze them but I had that with Matthew too and never this pain. I get the white look only once in a blue moon but when it's white it doesn't hurt. (like if i do the vinegar soak.)

I mean, if I take acidopholus every day (more than the bottle recommends), took difulcan 2x, do the vinegar, apno **** then why why why?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to also add that I know I will be ovulating some time today or tomorrow. I had a ton of EWCM :tmi: that I felt it come out. So gross. And my ovaries have been killing me.

So I am hoping it's just from the surge in hormones and it isn't thrush and I can go on my merry way. I really don't know how it could be because I have been so diligent with cleaning/boiling/not using cloth etc. etc.

If his tongue has white spots I'd say that's thrush. Oh man.

No I haven't tried it but I was going to get it and get some Clover oil to mix with the coconut oil.

I guess I just have to keep myself on this protocol and be extra careful with everything.
