I'm having one drink at dinner tonight (mixed fruity drink :hehe:) should I pump when I get home before the all night nurse-a-thon? I'm eating right after so that should soak it up.

I wouldn't. I usually breastfed right before drinking a drink or two, and then usually it would be 2+ hours before feeding time again, so I was always good because I never drank a lot.
I think it'll be fine to skip the pump and dump.

Yeah, one drink I wouldn't worry about. I have done several checks with those test strips. I know everyone's metabolism is different, but it took me an hour to show no alcohol. Plus LLL says one drink occasionally is fine, even if its still in your system.

Ditto, no need to pump and dump. If you don't feel tipsy while you're nursing, then you're good to nurse.

Nope, no need to pump and dump. It's not like you're drinking a case of beer. ;)
My sister's doctor told her that having a drink in the evening would help her relax and baby relax. Baby might sleep well too. :hehe:

you're covered by these girls, but I wanted to add that I also heard PandD was pointless. I think if you were at a point where you HAD to pump becuase of being full that would be different, but otherwise it doesn't stay in the milk while in you.

Thanks ladies!
DH and I went to dinner for his birthday. After that one drink I was seriously ready to put my head down on the table and sleep!
