It is kicking my ass! Maybe its been too long but I don't remember my cramps being this bad. Did anyone have heavier and more painful period postpartum?

After Aiden my period cramps were AWFUL!! They were so bad that I couldn't even keep a tampon in. I had more clotting too.

My first one after Connor showed up without any warning, and I didn't get a single cramp. I'm due for the second round this week, so we'll see if i'll miss out on the cramp train again.

Yep, my cramps have gotten worse with each baby. I'm not crying about the fact that my OB wants me to have a hysterectomy!

Did they(the cramps) get progressively better or stay strong?

I am grateful that I can use my Diva Cup again. I hated those gigantic post partum pads!

I love my Diva Cup!!

My cramps/periods have always been painful and heavy. It was only after Elise that I noticed that I really didn't have cramps anymore! She must've "fixed" whatever was wrong.

I've always had cramps that would leave me shivering in the shower. Now nothing. I'm so grateful.

Sarah, I don't know how I ever handled my period before it. I wish I had known about it from the beginning. I always had problems with leaking whether I used tampons, giant pads, or both. Now I just pop in the cup and I am good to go all day. LOVE IT! It was also a huge help when we still had our other dog who had developed quite the taste for menstrual blood. I no longer had to hear Dan in his grossed out voice say, "Um...Cathy...Oz got into the garbage again and its...bad."

I didn't menstruate for 11 months after Sam was born, and I had a c-section, so I attributed my horrible cramping to those factors. The first 2 months, I was in such pain that I ended up taking prescription pain meds and curling up in agony. By the third, the pain was siginificantly less, and by the fourth, I had no more cramping.

BTW, I can't wait to get a Diva Cup after Isobel is born!
