Why does it bug me?

So I went to a group today where there are quite a few women that I've known for quite a while. I don't ever feel like I really fit in, but that's a different post. ;)

Today I found out that 3 of 5 were pregnant. I felt a slight twinge of annoyance and I'm not sure why. Maybe it's because they're all cliquish now or maybe it's because I can't help the bitter thought of "if only it'll be that easy for me." Either way, I felt it. :sarcasticthumb:

Then my SIL's shower is this weekend and I'm annoyed. I don't want to talk about all things baby. My life is all things baby and I really really don't care about having the annoying "oh how exciting" facade. So.....hmph.

I'm not sure why it bugs me. What do you think? How do you feel when you see/hear of a pregnancy? :confused:

I am sure once we start trying and it doesn't work right away I'll start getting annoyed.:blush: I think it's natural to feel that way though. We always want what we don't have! :hug:

I STILL get a little twinge of pregnancy jealousy sometimes. I really do think it's perfectly normal and to be expected. Definitely don't beat yourself up for feeling the way you're feeling! :bluehug:

I too have those feelings. It is normal I think... And it probably didn't help that you are dealing AF. It may takes us longer to get knocked up but that is okay b/c we have some cute babies!! :hehe:

Is there a way that you can just put in an appearance for a little while at the baby shower and then leave so that you won't have to listen to all their crap?

It's because they suck and you rock ;) Seriously, when you're trying to get pregnant and everyone around you is getting pregnant- it's going to take a toll on anyone. :hug:
