I'm so excited! Brand new facility with really cool kids area. The pool has a big water slide and another little kids area to play in. I hope to make it to bodypump tomorrow if I feel up to it, although that might be pushing it since I just was diagnosed with bronchitis Monday and all lol. I am up to 137 lbs, had gotten down to 128. Five of those have somehow crept on in the last week! Wish me luck, I'm really out of shape. I'd like to get down to 125, but I'll be happy at 130 if I'm toned.

MIL gave me $500 for it, so I'm covered for 7 months. :hula: :hula:

Make sure you check to see if they have free Lifestyle Coaches. I went to one to get an idea of what type of working out I should do to meet my goals and such. They help you to learn the machines if you need to and you can go back to them to get new workouts too for free. It's actually kind of nice.

You will LOVE it! We joined about 2 years ago. I think my YMCA was built about 5 years ago...but it has the water slides too and I will tell DH I will be right back and I take a break from Gabe and go up and down myself a few times!

Michelle, that's a good idea. While I don't need a lifestyle coach per say (basically did hat exact thing when I worked at a gym a few years back :hehe:), I'm sure the equipment isn't the same and probably will need some explaining.
And Lisa, that's awesome! I love water slides so I may just have to do that one for myself! Although I get two hours of kidcare a day, so I'll just take them there while I go hang out at the pool. ;).

Ahhhhhh! I never thought of THAT! We have childcare too. I do have to pay but it is only a dollar an hour for members (up to 2 hrs at a time). I don't think they have it on weekends but I will def have to do that when I go during the week this summer! Thanks for the idea!
