Grandma's Feeling REALLY Guilty

My mom stopped by last night so that I could help her with some flyers she was making. Averie was happy in the high chair because she had just finished eating her dinner (sweet peas that she LOVED). My mom wanted to pick her up to cuddle her while she was here and when she picked her up out of the high chair Averie started SCREAMING! I panic and grab her from my mom instantly and realized that Averie's leg was bent and my mom didn't realize it and the tray kind of "popped" against her chubby little thigh. She cried so hard she was gasping and had tears rolling down her cheeks. My mom feels TERRIBLE and I kept telling her that it was just an accident, it's going to be ok. I was upset at first but only because that's a normal response to when your baby is crying like that. After calming down and thinking about it I realized it was a TOTAL accident and could have just as easily happened to me while getting her out of the high chair but man...that sucked :cry:

She has a purple bruise on her thigh :( I thought about taking a picture but wouldn't that be a bit sadistic?

Don't worry I take pics of EVERYTHING! I have a pic of Matthews horrendous puking. LOL I couldn't help it. He was so happy afterwards. I even have a pic of his poop :lol:

Aww, poor thing!! It's so hard when you cause them pain, the guilt is horrible! I hope grandma feels better and realizes it could have happened to anyone :support:
