View Full Version : Kidney pain, what could it be?

Every once in a while, like maybe once a month, my right kidney starts to have an intermittent burning pain. I mean, I assume it's my kidney, it's right where my kidney should be. It's not bad, but definitely noticeable and it comes and goes for a few days and then stops and I forget about it again.

I was trying to find any possibilities online but it seems like everything it could be related to (kidney stones, UTI) would have other symptoms and wouldn't go away for such long periods of time. I have a Dr appt next week, but I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas.

I know my kidneys bug me when I'm not drinking enough water. They start to ache a bit. That's all I can think of though outside of the possibilities you've already thought of.

I've been feeling some pinches in there lately but it's probably since I've been slacking on my water intake.

I also have kidney problem that once in a while my kidneys hurt, but I'm sure it's not that.

You'd know if it was kidney stones :hehe: Kidney stones are worse than my labor ever thought about being!!! That's actually how I found out I was pregnant.

Hopefully the doc can give You a heads up about what it could be.
