What milestone, or event, are you looking forward to with your little one(s)?

All of them but none of them  I love seeing the kids grow and learn but I really just wish it didn't have to happen so quickly! I am looking forward to Jake going into high school this year but the thought of him being so close to adulthood just kills me. I look forward to Sassy growing older and moving up to elementary school this year too but also feel sad that she's gotten so big so fast. Who told her that was ok anyway??? Skyler is about to enter his last year of elementary school and he's thrilled to be the "big man on campus" this year but I want him to be back in kindergarten again :hehe:
I look forward to Averie crawling, eating "table" foods, walking, talking...all that but also i just want to SLOOOOOWWW it all down and savor every second she is still a baby.
I can't wait for Matt to start table foods. I love when they get all messy and can sit at the table with you.

I can't wait (and don't want!) Tyler to start preschool in the fall. He's getting so big :(
I can't wait for Lily to sit up by herself. She's already crawling backwards, lol, but I look forward to her being able to sit up. I really don't want her to get so big!! :(

I'm looking forward to him talking, but don't want him to either because that means he's a real boy and not my baby boy :(

I also can't wait for Conner to talk more. I love hearing little kids talk and I always wonder how he's going to say certain words.

I can't wait to potty train Ben. I am so frickin' tired of changing diapers! I know it may not be easy and there will be accidents but I'm so ready to get rid of diapers.
I always feel a little guilty when I read these because I don't miss the 'baby' stage at all. Ben may be a pain in the ass a lot of the time (darn toddlers) but I really did not like the infancy stage and I couldn't wait for him to start walking. Now he's fully mobile (non-stop is more like it) and we can communicate fairly well which makes things so much easier. I dread having to go through the baby stage again with any future kids we have.

I can't believe my baby girl will be starting Kindergarten in the fall...yikes! Where did the time go?
I can't wait for Chandler to start eating baby food and fo him to start to sit by himself. He is getting better, but still falls forward.
