:(

I noticed on Matt's pinkie toe he has a little cut. I don't even know how to explain it but it looks like the skin was peeled off. Poor guy. I put some Burts Bees cream on it (since I don't have any neosporin--can we even use that??) and I tried to get a band aid on it but he was squiggling to much and I only had the circle ones.

I'm gonna get a pic of it so I can post it. I know, I'm crazy.

Aww, poor little guy. Averie's first owie was a *nasty* scratch on her face because her nails grow SO fast and I hadn't trimmed them in a few days :( Stinks to see their little bodies with an owie.

Don't feel too bad about the pictures, I posted one of Averie's bruise. Her bruise is all better now and healed up. I also posted a picture of her first owie too.

Aww, he probably scratched it from rubbing his feet together or something. Those baby nails can be sharp. :bluehug:

Ditto to what Andrea said! I don't know about the neosporin stuff? What does it say on the tube?

Aww, the booboos! They just get worse as they get bigger.. lol. I probably wouldn't use neosporin just now, it may be a little harsh on their skin.

Shane has one of those on his toe too. I think he did it with his nail while grabbing his feet.

Charlie's first owie (beyond scratches) was a blister on his big toe from jumping so violently in his jumperoo!! :hehe:

You can use neosporin and polysporin on their skin. I've had to use it a few time for diaper rashes and I got Dr's permission!

I got some bacitracin. The pharmacist said it was fine. I sure hope so.

Is that Burts cream stuff good? We have always just used Neosporin and it did fine. Nails are tricky, sounds like that might have been the culprit. Glad he's alright tho!!

My oldest, Connor, is first real booboo was a doozy LOL.
He was about a year and a half, it was about 8pm and I was watching something on tv while hubby snored on the sofa. Connor went behind the sofa and climbed the kitchen counter island thing we had, got into the trash and cut his finger with a veggie can.
I heard the rummaging, turned around and saw him sitting there and start to cry...I just wasnt fast enough to stop it and next thing I know there was blood everywhere!! He bled and bled and I wrapped his hand and arm in a towel and we ran to the urgent care(my middle boy was a couple months old then) and I went into the back office with Connor while hubby stayed out in the waiting room with Av.

His finger ended up with 4-5 stitches and we also found out he had latex issues cuz the bandage thing they wrapped his hand in gave him blisters.

Boy what a night!! From then on anything red(no matter what it was) was an owwie to him.
