So how do you get the perfect look?

I had to respond to this one because I have bad skin. First I apply a tinted moisturizer that has spf 15 by Smashbox (love their products!). Then I apply a green colored primer to help neutralize the redness in my face. After that I take a bit of silica powder (currently using Make-Up Forever) and apply a very small amount to my face. Then I apply my foundation using a foundation brush, currently I'm using both Smashbox and Make-Up Forever combined as I'm in between colors because of tanning. Then I take a very small amount of press powder and very lightly apply to face. I follow up with concealer under the eyes in any other area I may need it. Then I work on my eyes, then cheeks, lips, and finally the areas I may want to highlight (cheekbones, bridge of nose, cupid's bow, etc.)

I very, very rarely wear makeup...ever.
My solution? I have my eyelashes tinted (I have blonde hair and almost invisible lashes) and I wear tinted moisturizer with an spf of at least 15.

Clean your make-up brushes often! For the longest time I would just forget (ok, that might be gross lol) but ever since I cleaned my older ones and got new ones I haven't had a single zit!

Yeap! I've noticed that when I started to cleanse my brushes my acne almost completely went away. Its also good to shampoo them once a week. Sephora has a relatively inexpensive cleanser and shampoo, works pretty well and I haven't had issues with bristles coming off my brushes.
