The funniest, and possibly THE cutest, thing happened at the park yesterday. When we got there and walked onto the sand, this little guy, 15 months old I found out later, came toddling over to me, wrapped his arms around my legs then reached up so I would pick him up. :hehe:
I looked around for his mom and saw this woman with a horrified look on her face coming over to us but I couldn't ignore the pleading little pudge-ball at my feet so I picked him up. He got a huge smile on his face and started patting my back. The poor woman was beside herself by this point. Turns out she is his sitter not his mom. The only thing she could think of was that I look like his mom (glasses and short dark hair).
She apologized profusely but I told her not to worry about it. The little guy, Finn, made my day. There's nothing like a little loving from a baby, one you don't know from a hole in the wall, to make you smile.
