I have just started work out and I feel very tired and torn body in these days and I also feel sleepy all the time. What should I take to reduce this pain? My gym fellows have suggested that I should keep work out daily and few after all fatigue will go away. Is it right?

The more You exercise Your body becomes use to it. You could take an aleve for the pain, and try upping Your protein (by either a protein bar, shake or something of the like) to help with the exhaustion. I also believe that Muscle Milk is good for energy too. Muscle Milk Site (http://www.cytosport.com/products/muscle-milk/muscle-milk-ready-to-drink) I know I've seen it at Krogers where we live, so maybe check your local grocery store and see if they carry it, if not check with Your gym, or a sporting goods store.

Your friends are right. Start off slow by working out every other day and build up. If you start off too strong you're more likely to quit b/c it's hard to keep up that stamina!

Hi Rowanne,
As you are new in the gym so you are facing these issues. They will take take and make sure you will eat right and sleep for 7/8 hours daily.

I would just really focus on eating right. Apples are good and they are a pick me up. They're good for the morning or that midday slump. Green tea is another good pick me up. It will give you that energetic lift without a crash like coffee or soda. I have been drinking green smoothies first thing in the morning for breakfast (1c almond milk, 1/2c plain yogurt, 1c raw spinach leaves, 1/2 banana, 2T peanut butter or other nut butter). It has really helped me if I keep up with drinking them each day. Some days I don't even crave coffee anymore.
