A story that is personal to me.
My DH's good friend's wife (who's only 35!) was diagnosed with breast cancer just a few short months after giving birth to twins. It took over 5 years to conceive them and a few losses along the way. She's fighting the battle and is so strong! I can't imagine being in her shoes. While we aren't super close, they're wonderful people and when we do get together its so warm and fun. Her babies are just a little over a year old now and from what they have told us, the doctor says they caught hers early enough that treatment should work and she shouldn't need to have them removed.
Her story has really inspired me to become more active in checking myself weekly and if anything seems out of place I plan to act quickly and not put it off.
I'm off to prod my boobies.

That is so scary! I'm so glad she caught it early enough that she should be okay. :support: to her and her family!
Oh and when you're off feeling yourself up...don't squirt your eye!
