Naptime has never been an easy task in our house. A lot of it is my fault :hehe: I know that, but the hardest thing is Will knows how to soothe himself to sleep. He goes to sleep at night on his own, but during the day if he wakes even just a little he flips himself over and tries to get up. He just ends up crying though because he's tired. I have tried what the No Cry Nap Solution said by having him lay next to me on the couch and quickly shushing him back to sleep so he'll get used to going back to sleep on his own, but it's not working. He does great on the couch. If he's in his crib though he only sleep 30-60 min.

I am right there with you. Aiden has really good days (like today) where he'll sleep for 90+ minutes once in the morning and once in the afternoon. However, there are days that he wakes up screaming after 40 minutes and WILL NOT go back to sleep. It sucks that he can pull himself up now. When he was little I would just leave him there and he'd whine himself back to bed---and then wake up happy! :hehe:

I don't know what to say except that I'm in the same boat. Aiden is plain 'ol nasty if he doesn't nap long enough. I'm at the point where I just go with it....

I have no advice for you. Come on! How bad would it be if I did?! :hehe:

Matt will actually sleep in his crib it's just the party time at 3 am I can't stop.

Michelle, From the time Charlie was about 15 months until about 2 weeks ago Charlie slept on the couch because that's where he slept better. He used to do the same thing in his crib and I eventually decided that him having a longer nap (since he only was taking 1 nap a day at that point) that it was worth it for him to stay on the couch. He loved it, I loved it because it gave me some cuddle time. Now he sleeps in his big boy bed and it worked out for us.

Bedtime has always been so easy for us, so I figured "If I have night time perfect and nap time not....I'll take it" :hehe:
