Okay being pregnant for our little ones there was alot of things I am sure we were expecting. But now that they are here and many of them are toddlers. What is one thing you did NOT expect.

I think the one thing you can never expect is how much love and worry a child can bring. You never expect your nerves to be so shot, your exasperation to get so high, or your heart to be so full!

Well said Ashley!
I was pretty prepared for everything that was coming my way. I've got 8 nieces and nephews and babysat all off them (lived with one sister for the first 6 months of my nephew's life and was a nanny for my other sister's 2 kids) so I had some good experience and nothing has really shocked me. I'm fairly laid back about everything.
The one thing that has surprised me is my patience. I'm really not the most patient person  so I wasn't sure how I'd do with a bratty toddler but so far so good! I do lose it from time to time but on the whole I'm doing pretty darn good. :thumb2:

I didn't expect it to be so difficult those first couple of months. We tried for so long, and once he was here, I was like "What the heck were we thinking?" Life was completely different, and I didn't know how to handle it. But it got much, much better, and now I can't remember how my life was before he was here.
