I am in serious, serious pain over here.

Ever since having Aiden, my periods have been complete and total hell. I never had cramps before having him, but now, every month, my cramps get progressively worse.

Yesterday they would come and go in waves, and they were so bad that I seriously felt like I was having contractions. They pressure would start in my butt and move upward. I was having chills and I even spiked a fever while I was at work. I couldn't even keep a tampon in because the dang things were so awful. No amount of Midol or Advil kept the things at bay.

I just feel like this kind of pain isn't normal for just period cramps. I don't know, maybe I'm over-thinking it.

My mom developed a lot of health issues after she had me, so I feel like I'm destined for issues, too. :hehe:

I have no idea Caitlin but I would talk to your doctor about it. Before I had Matt my periods were hell. Butt pain like you mention (especially when going to the bathroom) and the like.

I have been the same way, no cramps before now i have them sometimes. My periods where like 3 days now 6. And last month i was late like 2 days and i have only been late once or twice my whole life. I think its very normal, I am have only had my period since March i think since i was breastfeeding so i am giving it some time to get back to normal.

Sounds like what my periods were like before I had Averie. Ibuprophen, a heating pad and wearing pads instead of tampons were the only things I was able to do that did any amount of good. Keep in mind that at only 10 months you're still post partum so hopefully things will even out soon :support:

I've only had one period PP but they were definitely not like before having Will. The cramps were pretty horrendous and Pamprin and a heating pad were the only things that made me feel better. Are you on b/c? I think those can make it worse.
