Holy cow! "They" don't lie when they say that around 20-22 months a toddler's vocabulary explodes!
Ben has been starting to say more and more words lately but in the last week he's tossing them out like he's been doing it for ages! The other day he threw me for a loop when he started putting 2 words together and now he's doing it all the time. A bus drove by outside and he said "Bye bus!". Sometimes he has to work up to it, practice the word then add the second word to the phrase but he's doing it!
Oh, and he's learned the word "no". He doesn't use it often but today when I asked him if he wanted more of his dinner he said "No.". I guess I can't complain considering it's taken him this long to learn it...
