Yes, you heard me right :hehe:

I've been looking for toys for Matt and my inlaws have scared me ****less about buying him toys made in China. I found this nice list online (you can type in the brand and rankings come up.)

Not sure if anyone is interested but since Christmas is coming up it might help.

I don't know but it sucks! Oompa Loompa makes some good toys too and so does Melissa & Doug.

I read that Melissa & Doug could be toxic because of the paint?!

Thanks Michelle! Why are better toys so damn expensive?!
Because it costs more to have them made here (North America). Workers here demand decent wages so the price of products goes up to cover the cost of the workers then those same workers complain that the price of products made here are too high (or can't afford them) so they buy cheaper products that are made elsewhere in the world. It's a vicious circle.

 That was kind of a rant by me. It drives me nuts that people here complain about things made in China but turn around and complain about the cost of buying something made here. Me included.

Besides, I bet a lot of the parts used to make products 'produced' here are made elsewhere in the world. Like pants made in Canada. Chances are the fabric came from India or China. :sigh:

OMG you guys should hear my mom rant on and on about this. She is really funny about it. She gets so frustrated with all the stuff made in China and she just kinda gets grumpy because of it. I think it's hilarious.

As for me....I try to buy North American made as much as possible, but I'm not super picky. I just don't have the time to check everything. You know??

Thanks for the links!
