the past 3-4 days Matt has been a bit of a nightmare during his naps(hardly taking any) and last night and the night before bedtime has become a realllllllllllllllllllll nightmare.

I know his teeth are killing him because he won't even let me rub anything on his gums.

Like right now it's 8:55 and we've been trying since 7:45ish. :eyeroll:

Also, he got into the habit of us patting his butt to sleep so now we have to wean off of that.

UGH.

I'm sorry!:bluehug: It's sucks so much when there are a few days in a row with sleep issues. Hopefully the teeth will give him a break soon and you can all get some rest. :support:

I used to pat Ava's butt too to get her to relax, then it was rubbing her back, now it's rubbing her feet.:hehe: I have tried to skip the foot rubbing, but she sticks her foot in the air and says "foot rubby" and then she just yells it louder if I don't do it.:eyeroll: I've created a monster!

He and Emmelia must be plotting together. For the last 4 days, sleep has been practically non-existent in our house. She doesn't nap during the day except for 10 minutes snoozes and she pitches a fit when I try to get her to sleep at night. And then she was up 3 times last night. I know it's her teeth. Her top gums are swollen. She kept waking up crying. It was a pained cry, not a fussy cry. But still - I'm freaking exhausted!

Hope he snaps out of it soon. :support:

I'm so sorry girl! We're having trouble here, too. Must be in the MH air. I also think it's teeth as one of his eye teeth has recently popped through, and I believe the other is right behind. I hope you figure something out soon! Have you tried Motrin? I gave some to Cohen Friday night after hours of crying, and he went to sleep. Not sure if it helped or if he was just exhausted from the crying. :hehe:

Oh, teeth always jacked us up!! I hope they pop through quickly and then he goes back to sleeping.

The 2 tops ones are out but just the tips. You can see they popped through but not completely--you can feel them. So I know it's whats bothering him. It sucks.

He took a 3 hour nap today. Finally got him to sleep around 10:30 and then we tried again at 4 to get another one out of him but he slept for literally 5 minutes.

Bedtime was a breeze. He went down fairly easily.

Count me in as having a sleep monster in my house. :eyeroll: William did not take an afternoon nap today. He screamed for 45 min while I rocked him. I was fed up and gave him to DH, went upstairs to calm down and fell asleep myself! :hehe:

Jo, we used to pat Will on the butt too to get him to sleep, then we began slowing down the patting and then eventually would just put our hand on him.

Yeah that's what I do but sometimes he needs the patting. It's like if I stop and just leave my hand there he turns over and stares at me like MA! come on and start patting!

It wasn't too bad. He went down fairly easily. Slept til 11 and then went back down until 6:30.

Now he hasn't napped since (40 min nap this morning) and is just playing on the rug and having a grand ol' time. :eyeroll:
