Julia, those pictures are fantastic!
What camera do you use? Do you use Photoshop? I love the coloring of your pictures.

Thanks Caitlin, yes I do use photoshop, do you have it? If so, a very easy photo fix is to duplicate the background layer twice, change the setting of the middle layer to screen and the top layer to soft light. Change the opacity to fit the image! :))
As for camera, all of these are taken with my Nikon D80, except for 1, the 2nd to last, that was taken with my Canon Ixus 990 something.

Hey, what lenses do you use for your Nikon? I'm buying myself a D90 for Christmas (:hehe:) and I'm debating whether or not to bother with the kit lenses. I've heard some not-so-great things. I'd really just like a lens that's good for portraits.

I have a 18-125mm lens and I'm debating wether or not to buy myself a new lens for christmas, the 50mm lens. It's really reasonable priced and I've heard it's great for portraits. I love my 18-125mm lens though that came with my camera, it's very easy to use and so versatile.

Good to know!
I was just thinking of getting the body and the 50mm f/1.8 or f/1.4...I've heard nothing but good things!
I just have to sell my D60 first...

Holy cow he's getting big! Great pics!!!
I'll have to try your PhotoShop tip! Our camera sucks and until we get a new one we'll have to deal with it. Maybe your trick will make the pics a little better.
