View Full Version : Ugh, Tyler has the flu

This day has been really crappy. Lily was up all night, getting up for the day at 6. Then, I woke up Tyler to get him ready for preschool, and he was burning up. I figured with dh having a sinus infection & bronchitis, that's what Tyler had. So no school & I called the dr. We leave a little before 9, don't get out to nearly 11. Turns out there was a little fluid in his right ear, but they checked him for strep & the flu. Of course, the kid has the flu. Sigh. So, he's on tamiflu, dh is on antibiotics & steroids, I'm hoping beyond hope Lily doesn't get anything while she's miserably teething, and I'm just plain exhausted.

Whew. So there's my beautiful Monday update/vent. :eyeroll:

Thanks ladies. He spent the afternoon in my bed watching scooby doo movies and picking at some chicken noodle soup. Poor kid is wiped. He has had some medicine and is napping, so hopefully he feels a bit better when he wakes up.

Thanks ladies. He seems to be doing a little better today, still a little out of it. He just wants to lay down and watch movies, so he's laying next to me while I work.
