Thanks so much ladies!!! So great to finally be here as I have heard such good things about this site!! So great to see familar faces as well!! I have missed you all through this busy time of taking care of two young children on my own!! Please be patient with me as I learn this site lol.
For those of you who don't know me I am looking so forward to chatting and getting to know you all. I have a four year old boy named Kolten Trevor and a soon to be 12 month old girl named Emily (New Years Baby).
When Emily was around four months old I made the very hard deceision to leave my husband of 10 years. I could not look into my baby girls eyes and justify staying with a very controlling, alcholic man. Somehow I felt I would be doing her a diservice if for somehow she thought this is what to expect from a husband when she gets older. It has been very very hard on me to say the least but my children are doing brilliantly...probably better then they have ever done before! It is all about them for me and now I am getting ready for the battle of my life. My ex understands that it is very hard to control me anymore but also understands that he still can in the name of our children. He didn't have much interest in them before but now they are his obsession...hence keeping me as much in his life as possible... He has currently secured a rental property not even a block from me. *Sign* Enough about that...time to delve into this site and enjoy all of you and your wonderful ways of mothering!!!! :hula:
