Well, yesterday was Chandler's 1st day with drinking his formula in a sippie cup! I started to cry when he drank from it! It was a huge step for him, but it felt like my baby wasn't so much of baby anymore. Chandler would drink juice from a sippie cup, but he wouldn't for his formula. Farah told me to buy the Nubby's, so I did, or atleast thought I did:hehe: I realized last night that they were Munchkin's, but they still worked. I am happy to be done with bottles now!

The funny thing is, is that i found a 3 pack at Walgreens of the generic nubby's for like $5.00 i think, and he wouldn't use them for his formula. I honestly don;t see a huge difference in the generic and the real thing. Maybe he only likes name brand:hehe:

:hehe: Maybe he just didn't want them yet?? Tyler used to refuse sippy cups until my friend suggested those straw cups (are they nuby too? I'm not sure..) Anyway, they were the only ones he used until he was like 2 1/2. He was lazy, he didn't like to tip the regular cups up :hehe:

It is bittersweet. I hope you don't take this wrong but I am glad I wasn't the only one to tear up at the thought of milk/formula in a sippie cup. I felt like a total goon but I about cried when Averie got her first sippie of milk. Glad it seems to be working for you guys though :))

Emma is still attached to her bottle!!!!! I give her juice from her sippie, but she's not too good at it yet. I use the advent sippie cup. Maybe I should try her milk in a sippie.
