What makes you feel good about yourself?

Is it something as simple as a haircut? A compliment? Or is it something more.

Why does it make you feel that way? Do you think you could feel better about yourself than you already do? How can you get yourself to a place of being happy with who you are?

What makes me feel good about myself... When I help someone in need. I guess it makes me feel that way b/c I feel like I have used myself or talents to help someone.. Yeah there is alot of things I would like to change about me on the outside that would really help me have more confidence in myself. NO CLUE...

I kinda like me LOL the one thing that makes me feel the best about myself is when my kids love me and fight over me :clap:

My standards are so low these days (3 under 3 years old keep them low). I feel the best about myself when I've had a shower and my hair is washed, my legs and armpits are shaved, I'm flossed and tooth-brushed, and I have lotion on my face and legs.

It's very sad to me that these days, hygiene is so high on my list. :lol:

I also feel really great when I overhear DH say something really nice about me to the kids. :clap:

I feel good about myself after I get all "jazzed up" makeup, jewelry, cute clothes, etc. I'm so used to being in "comfy" clothes and no makeup that when I get to dress up and go out, it makes me feel good! It also really boots my self confidence whenever I receive a nice compliment :)
