Took CDawg back to the doc

and he has an ear infection. Poor baby, this is his first one. He kept waking up screaming all night, and he was up for the day this morning at 4:00am. I called the doc b/c he still had a fever and they said to bring him in. I had no idea it would be an ear infection since his ears looked good last week and he's been on an antibiotic since then. So now he's on another antibiotic. When I was trying to feed him lunch a minute ago, he said, "Ear hurts Mommy". How could I not have known? I feel so bad.

Aww poor baby!!! I hope he feels better soon! I had chronic ear infections as a child & I still cringe at the thought of them :(

Ear infections are hard to know. I am glad they figured it out and he can start feeling better! He probably only knew to say that now because he's heard it while at the Doctor's. Get well soon big guy! :support:

Thanks girls! I just feel like I should've known b/c there was all of this caked up, nasty sh*t in his ear. The nurse at my OB appt. even commented on it, and I told her I thought it was food. Doh!

I've already put him to bed for the night, so I'm praying that he sleeps all night and doesn't wake up screaming again.

(((HUGS))) Cohen, hope he gets to feeling better. I'd give him some tylenol tonight before bed, it'll help the pain and discomfort.
