Toddler Entertainment Ideas

HELP! It is going to rain for about EIGHT DAYS next week...We have monday off and it's supposed to start that day.

Anyone have any ideas on how to entertain 2 kids in the house for 8 days? Especially the baby? :faint: I need to clean before the rain starts...I have a feeling this house will get very messy very quickly.



My good friend is flying in from Ohio next week too :sigh: I haven't seen her in 2 years and now it will be POURING the whole time she's here.

Well, when I have all 5 kids home and we're stuck in the house we play games, paint and play doh sometimes (like Rayanne said) but those are messy and I'm mean like that ;), read books, make a fort out of blankets (the kids LOVE this one, especially Averie), hide and seek (Averie even likes this one too), and we watch movies sometimes too. Good luck, my way of getting through being stuck indoors for long periods of time with all of them is to just try to keep them doing *something*. Idle minds are the devil's playground and they tend to get themselves into trouble.

I live where we can't go out much during the winter so a lot of coloring and playing with cars or hide and seek :hehe:

I used to play in the rain with the kids. Put on the raincoats and boots and outside we go. It was when things got stir crazy!

Yea. Probably not going to do that because it's cold and Aidan just had the flu and some stomach thing. lol....We'll probably end up going to the mall one day and just running around.
