Has anyone ever tried this? It's really a neat idea that I came across on a blogger friend of mine's site. You fill the tins with different foods (ideally a much cuter tin that I will be picking up this week at target for each of the kids!). I had never come across this idea, so I thought I would give it a try today! Tyler loved it, especially since my sister left today.

Here's Tyler's Muffin Tin Monday lunch:

He had two tins of ham rollups, one of green beans, one of strawberries, one of applesauce, and one of peanuts (this was his addition :hehe:) I'm sure this has been around for awhile, but what a cute idea! I'm going to work on keeping in with some themes, he really enjoyed this!

That is really cute!

They have the 6 muffin muffin tins...I think I'll do this when Aidan gets older.

This would be cute for parties too.

:thumb: Good idea!

That's a really cute idea for preschoolers and early elementary kids! Playgroup too!

Have you seen the Bento Box lunchboxes? If he gets used to eating this way, that would be a good idea to send him to school with. :))

They have lots of little compartments:

Julie, we bought one of those for Dylan -- just the Bento Box from the Sanrio store...within a month all the pieces were lost :hehe:

Now she brown bags it. They are so cute though. I want one for myself!

That is such a cute idea. I don't think the kids would think much of it for lunch, but one the weekends when we do movie night we make a happy plate. You know, fruit, crackers, cheese, snack food. That would be perfect for that. Thanks for the idea Ashley.

Yeah, that lunch box is cute, but I'm thinking it would get lost too! I think this is definitely geared more towards the older toddler/preschool crowd, but I'll have to get one for Lily too or she'll try to steal Tyler's :hehe: I just thought this was the neatest idea and he loved it!

Oh how cute!!

i wish I was still watching the boys so I could do all this fun stuff :hehe: I used to cut their sandwiches with cookie cutters and just make funny faces/shapes with all their food.

Silly things like this:

I love that muffin tin thing though. Do you put the tin in their lunchbox?? Stupid question but I'm wondering. :p
