Kylee had a Hawaiian party a few years ago. Sometimes you can find stuff at the dollar tree, more the closer you get to summer. Also Oriental Trading has a ton of stuff/

Yeah, I was going to say OTC is my go to site for themed party stuff. They have big palm trees for $4.99!

That'll be fun! I had a luau for my 8th birthday and it was awesome.

That sounds like such a great time, I always love Hawaiian themed parties! I second the Dollar Tree! Or if you have a Big Lots in your area. They always have tons of Luau stuff! I'll keep my eye out for you!

Fun! Get little leis for the party guests. I'm sure they have those super cheap at the party store.

I threw my sister a Hawaiian themed baby shower, and instead of buying a cake, I made vanilla cupcakes with cream cheese iceing and sprinkled brown sugar n top to look like sand. Then I added little umbrellas and some dots upside down to look like pales. I also used pales for chips, crackers, and pretzel sticks.

So cute, Rayanne!

Oriental Trading Co. is definitely good, and I did see some luau themed stuff at The Dollar Tree last year when I was doing our company luau. Also, Party City of course, but they're not the cheapest place.

Yes..we did a luau for Talon's 1st birthday. I got most of the decor at Oriental Trading Co and they have great stuff. Look online for coupon codes if you order from them. Here are some pics.

For favors I got those little cellophane bags that have hibiscus flowers printed on them and put in chocolate chip and macadamia nut cookies that I made. I gave those little plastic rubber duckies dressed in Hawaiian garb to the kiddos. The blow up palm tree was also a cooler, which was nice for sodas and water. I aslo ordered a Hawaiian themed CD that we played.

My MIL grew up in Hawaii, so she made a lot of the food and we ordered a couple things for a local Hawaiian BBQ place. We also bought the hawaiian fruit sodas. The cake was from Sams Club and I just added the luau ducks to the cake, which we also gave those little ducks as favors.

The photo Op (the hawaiian scene thing you put your face through) was a big hit! Got everyone laughing.:p
