A dirty diaper!! Eli has been going to the potty!! WOOHOOO:hula:He just started doing this all on his own. We really didn't push it, but now we are asking more if he needs to go potty. He will pee in the potty but he hasn't started telling us when he needs too.
Since he was 10months before he takes a bath we have been sitting him up on the big potty we have a seat that sits inside our seat for him. He thinks it is alot of fun and has never been scared of the potty.
So lets hope this is the start of potty training.

Awesome! Sounds great! Duncan completely trained just after he turned two, and it's so nice! We can't really take credit - our nanny did the hard work!

Woo Hoo!! That is awesome! :hula: Go Eli!
I can't get Conner to understand the potty. He flushes the toilet for us and says bye bye to the pee, and he'll say "pee pee" or "poop poop" when he sees you on it but when we ask him if he wants to pee pee on the potty he gets all excited and runs to it but once he gets on it he wants off. Guess his wife will be changing his diapers too :hehe:

You gotta start somewhere.
Cindy, try sitting him on it right when he wakes up in the morning and from naps. They usually have to go pee then. You'll learn whether he is a right away pee-er or if he waits 5-15 min. Then if you can get him to go then, start asking him every 20-30 min after he pees.
Yay Eli!!! Awesome! I hope it turns out to be easy for you. ;)

Well it didn't last... He pooped last night in his diaper.... But we didn't scold him or anything just told him next tell Mommy or Daddy when you need to go potty. He said okay!! LOL :hehe: I am not stressing about this yet. Now on his 4th b-day if am still changing his diaper then I will worry!:hehe:

It sounds like he's doing great, even with a little setback! :hula:

That sounds awesome! Charlie is just now starting to tell us he has a poop in his diaper, kinda. If I ask him "Did you poop?" he'll say "No", but if I ask "Do you want Mommy to change your diaper?" he'll say "Yeah" and grab my hand and walk me to his room and get me a diaper for him. I'm letting him totally guide me on it so we'll see what happens :)
Sounds like you're gonna have an easy time of it!

Setbacks happen and as long as you don't get angry with him now he will be less afraid of doing it. Way to go Eli!
