12 month check up

Layla had her 12 month check up yesterday. I started the appointment by telling the medical assistant AND the doc that we weren't getting any shots at that visit. She was supposed to have the MMR, chickenpox, and pneumococcal vaccines but we are passing on the MMR and chickenpox completely and delaying the pneumococcal until her 15 month visit. So she lucked out by not getting poked at all! And the best part of all is that the doc didn't fight me on my decision.

She is growing really well. She weighs 21 lbs and is 31 inches long. The doc predicts that she will be tall. DH is 6' 2.5" and I'm 5' 6" so I don't think she will be a shortie. Layla is meeting all her milestones and overall we had a great appointment.:D
