Yep, Bill Pullman is from my town I've met him a few times. Some sports people. We rode on a plane back from our honeymoon with a girl who was on Real World.

Okay, Ashley, this is creepy. Apparently when DH was out with his friends last night someone brought up this very conversation with him and they didn't believe him!!!

As for me, I grew up in L.A. so I met a ton of famous people, but here are two of the coolest stories....both of which occurred while I lived in Chicago, but was visiting Las Vegas

Story One- Rob Lowe
DH and I got married in Las Vegas in March 2004. We had a small wedding (35 guests) at Bellagio and it was just an AWESOME party. We rocked the joint. Well, after our reception we weren't ready to stop the party so off we went fully dressed in our wedding attire (wedding gowns and tuxes) to a lounge in Bellagio. While there my mom came up to me and said "There's Rob Lowe" and I turned and sure enough, there he was! He saw me and congratulated me and talked with me a little. Then DH talked with him for about 30 minutes. While there they talked about Santa Barbara and marriage, but the one thing that Rob Lowe said that stuck with DH says "You think you love her now....wait until she has your children" A little later on we were doing something and a waiter came up to DH and I and said "Champagne from Rob Lowe"!!! We took our time drinking it and as we walked around the casino people would cheer and shout "CONGRATULATIONS" to us and DH and I would scream "ROB LOWE CHAMPAGNE!!!" and hold our glasses up! :lolcry:

Story Two- Eric McCormick
On our second wedding anniversary DH and returned to the scene of the crime, Bellagio, Las Vegas. DH loves to play Blackjack and I was standing around the table while he played. So I see Eric McCormick across the casino and he was talking to his parents or ILs and his wife (or who I assumed to be his wife). He ends up catching my eye (or did I catch his?) and he said something to his wife and they all parted ways. He came straight for the table we were at, smiled at me, and sat down right next to DH. Well, they played a while and he was pretty quiet. A group of women were gathering around the table to see him and DH decided to be funny and said to Eric McCormick "Do I know you from somewhere?" Eric McCormick responded "Yeah, we dated in HS" :look:

Oh....wait....Story Three- Patrick Swayze I met Patrick Swayze 3 block from my house a few months ago. DH thought he'd quote a movie Patrick was in called Roadhouse and said "I thought you'd look bigger in real life" and Patrick said "That's what they all say." Of course, I was super embarrassed because I knew that Patrick didn't take it that way. I told DH he should have said "Nobody puts baby in the corner" if was going to say anything!!

Oh, I babysat for Greg Maddux and his family when he was with the Cubs. He's going to be a Hall of Famer someday, so that's pretty cool.

There have been a few others, but I can't remember them right now. If I do, I'll edit this.

Farah, I'm totally fawning over Rob Lowe. I had THE hugest teeny bopper crush on him when I was younger...

I don't know if I've met anyone really famous. I've met a bunch of hockey players (mainly at the grocery store ) but I think that's it. I'll have to think about it post back here if I come up with anything...

I heart Rob Lowe! And you never told me those stories! Well, you did tell me the Patrick Swayze one. I'm jealous of that one, too!

I've never met anyone. I saw Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell last year walk by my store in little old Huntsville AL while they were staying at the Westin to watch their son who played hockey for a college here. I was too chicken to go up and ask for an autograph.

I meet Kirstin Dunst when I was working/going to college in Minneapolis. I worked at this smoothie shop and she was filming a movie in the area. She came in for smoothies several times while she was there and almost always brought her itty bitty dog with her.

I went to college with John Warne for a year. john played in a band, Ace Troubleshooter but now he plays bass for Relient K. It's weird seeing him on TV or hearing their music on the radio. James (dh) always talks about how he slept in John's bed. lol We met up last year when they were playing nearby and went to Denny's after the concert. It was a Tuesday and the only thing that was open that late.

I've met Ozzie Guillen before too. Not an interesting story though.

I never met anyone. I'm too embarrassed to go up to anyone for fear the might murder me

I have seen in person:

Heidi klum and Seal with her kids OMG she is gorgeous in person just like on TV!! She was pregnant too and just got off our plane :kick:

Mark Hoppus from Blink 182---I was 19 or 20 at the time and me and my friend went to the MTV music awards in NYC.(we stood outside in the rain like idiots) He came right next to me and I nearly killed my friend trying to touch him (I was a bit obsessed)

Lars Fredrickson from Rancid  We were going to see The Dropkick Murphys and he was standing outside the club and we walked passed him.

That's all I can think of for now.
